Hey everyone, Adrian here. Today marked our first official filming day for the film, and overall it was a success. Along with that, there have been a few important cast and crew changes that needed to be addressed.
Diego is no longer a part of the project, and Enmanuel will no longer be serving as the cameraman. After reassessing roles, I decided to bring in people who fit better with the direction of the film. Marcos, who is also playing Matheus’s brother in the story, stepped in as the new cameraman and handled the role really well. Chris, a good friend of mine, replaced Diego as Bodyguard #1. As for Cesar, his appearance in the film is still undecided and hasn’t been fully locked in yet.
Today’s filming session focused entirely on the first half of the film. We did run into some issues, which is expected during production. One of the main problems was the lights on the camera rig dying in the middle of filming, which was honestly on me. The script also went through a few changes during production, but that’s completely normal and part of the process.
Transporting the mannequin to the filming location at Matheus’s house was surprisingly easy and didn’t cause any delays. Once everything was wrapped up and we got the shots we needed, we ended the night by going to Chili’s to decompress after a long day.
A short blooper video from today’s shoot will be posted along with this blog.
More updates on what’s coming next very soon.
